Rev. Violet Sowbhagya Cury

Presbyter-in-charge

Rev. Violet Sowbhagya Cury was posted to Wesley English Church in 2020. Rev. Violet has several years of ministerial experience. Some of the churches she served are Karunalaya, St. James Church, CSI Hospital Bangalore, Christ of Calvary Church, St. John's Church, Holy Cross Church English and Tamil, St. Thomas Church KGF, Michaels and All Angels' KGF, Kirubalayam KGF, Immanuel Church KGF. Rev. Violet is also a special educator, her husband Rev. L. Shashikanth Dennis Raj, is a theological teacher and a counselor and her son Luke Samarpan.

Mrs. Bindu Paul

Secretary

Mrs. Bindu Paul has been a member of the Pastorate Committee for multiple terms. She is one of the leaders in the Praise and Worship team and is always ready to give a helping hand in any activity of the church. Mrs. Bindu was also the Sunday School Convenor for 7 years and currently is also a member of the Wesley Choir.

 

Mr. Stanley Sampath

Treasurer

Mr. Stanley Sampath has been one of the most active members in the congregation even when not on the Pastorate Committee. One can see him helping to count the offering, ushering during communion or quitely arranging the hymnals. He is a role model for other members of the congregation.

Dr. Anthony Isaac a three term Secretary of the Church and also Secretary of the YMCA is a man who wears many hats comfortably. He is actively involved in issues of social justice and actively works with street children.

Mr. Joushua is a second time member of the Pastorate Committee and brings the enthusiasm of youth to the meetings. He is well organised and the experience of working with one of the top MNC's as a trainer holds him in good stead.

Mrs. Moly Sudheer is a committed member of the church and goes about with a quite determination in the work she undertakes. Mrs. Moly actively participates and is currently passionate about the Sunday School and Women's Fellowship.

Mrs. Ruth Wesley daughter to Mr. SK Abraham, erstwhile Secretary of the Church is a quite and calming influence. Her deep concern for the Church and the Wesley Family comes from the enormous time the family has dedicated to the Church.

Ms. Shwetha Elisha with the energy of youth and her ladylike disposition brings her artistic skills and passion to the work she takes up for Wesley Church. A second term member of the Pastorate Committee representing the youth she has definite plans to strengthen the youth brigade.

Mrs. Sunitha David a long standing member of Wesley Church comes from a family blessed with golden voices. She has been a member of the Choir and is actively involved with the musical ministry of the Church. Currently also actively participating in the Sunday School ministry.

Cdr. Joshua, a long standing member of the Church. He has been a member of the Pastorate Committee in previous terms and brings his rich experience to the deliberations of the new Committee

Mr. Pravin Amalraj is a talented photographer and works in the advertising domain. By nature an unassuming person he is always enthusiastic and willing to contribute to activities of the church.
