Eternal God make this day to remember the unseen cloud of witnesses who encompass us.
We thank you for their witness in life and in death. Help us to walk worthily of those in
whose unseen presence life is lived. Grant us grace that in this life we may never forget those
who have gone before us, whose life is hidden in you so that in the life to come we may share
their blessedness; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy
Spirit, one God, now and ever. Amen
