O God, we remember today that you called Luke the doctor to be the writer of the Gospel, the missionary of your reign. Give us honesty, sincerity and openness of mind for the careful investigation and evaluation of our context and our lives, so that we may become instruments of inspiration, healing and wholeness; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit one God, now and ever. Amen.
